WOW! All I have to say is Wow! I said two things before the season started, (Go check my archived articles). I told you that preseason meant something important. It meant that if some of your starters get hurt, you need preseason in order to see what your second and third strings can do. Well, almost the whole 1st team is gone! Now we have to rely on almost an entire second team and that's not even the worst news. The worst news is we now need Bolinger, the THIRD STRING QB, not because Johnson is hurt, but because he sucks! Hey, I like Brad, he's a nice guy, doesn't say anything that will bite him in the ass and has class, but as far as throwing a football, my to year old niece could complete a pass better. I'm not saying that Drew was any worse or better, but they are both in the same boat. Well, at least Johnson has a Superbowl, but then again, as much as I hate Bledsoe, I think he would actually be better. Maybe it's the age. Maybe being 40 is really a factor. That cant be it though. Don't tell me if Brett was 40 right now he would be throwing the ball to the other team 90% of the game. Can't be that. The second thing was BLOWING UP THE TEAM BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED! Why, Why are you putting the Boys' in the NFC Championship and Superbowl before preseason even starts. I can not stand some of these analysts and broadcatsers who consistently put a label on teams that you can not judge until at least preseason. The Cowboys have never, since at least the early 90's teams blown anyone out just because of who is on the team or what the record was. Last year, they didn't win games until the second half, now they don't in games at all anymore. As a true fan, I can honestly say that I do not know how they have 5 wins right now. Even if you go and check Tony's stats for the games he played before coming out, if you watched the games you would have said, WOW, how does he get all those yards and win the game after what I just saw. Tony has never, since he started against the Giants two years ago, gone one game without a turnover. It is a record for the league so far for a starting QB. Now, don't get me wrong, I am his no. 1 fan by far, but again, as I have said before, I am realistic. I thought that before coming out and getting injured, that Tony needed to sit for a game or at least a half after how he was performing. Well, as a class A idiot, you never realize what you have until it's gone. I made a mistake. I never thought Brad could be this bad. Anyway, they are a mediocre team just like any other team. Do not blow any team up until you know for sure. Even then you don't know. This season has been nothing but surprises since Week 1. Listen, NFL network radio had Brad on the show last Saturay, and one of the guys asked Brad, "Brad, why is when any other team in the league goes 1-3, or 2-4, or 3-3, it's no big deal, but when the Cowboys perform a recod like that, it's like the earth moves". It was the funniest thiing I had heard in a while because it was like hearing my voice back to me. If we were'nt blown up to be a Superbowl team then when we lost it wouldn't hit the fan like it does now. Here are the bottom lines for this team. The defense is letting up way to much on the ground. James, Hamlin, Ellis, Adams, just some of the guys that need to start stepping up and making stops, not to mention, SACKING THE QB instead of just TOUCHING him and blowing the sack! The inside pass coverage is a trocious. Slant patterns have become like a glitch in the Madden video game to beat it on All-Madden. We get lit on th inside everytime. Another problem is no matter how many yards Barber is getting, he is getting the ball too much. I know Jason is scared to have Brad throw the ball, but he needs to throw the ball numerous time, and to T.O. I might add, a little more if we want a shot at beating the Giants. There defense will dismantle Barber if a passing game is not established. Lastly, as much as it hurts to say this, Wade is going to have o go soon. I have been on his train long enough now, and whether Brain Stewart is calling the defense or him, Wade should still have abtter record with 13 probowlers. I certainly don't want someone like Bill back, but yet I also don't want someone who is too soft. He's a nice guy, but nice doesn't win Superbowls, let alone playoff games. Wish us luck on Sunday!
