What a mess.

I take the T-day holiday off and the NFL goes crazy. 

Just when I thought that Donovan Mcnabb was the dumbest player in the NFL, Plaxico goes off, literately in his pants.  Dumb doesn't even begin describe the Giant wide receiver.  Listen, this guy is a disgrace.  People like this should not be allowed to reproduce.  He makes millions a year, while the rest of us who WORK FOR A LIVING follow the law with the greatest of ease.  Hell, I'd have to say that most of us who even have weapons, have the God given sense not shoot ourselves in the thigh.  This kind of thing is a comedy bit for TV and movies.  You agree with that right?  You have some character in a TV show or a movie that is the dumbest moron possible, and someone gives him a gun, or he buys one.  What happens next?  Bang, that's what happens.  But for this to happen to such a talented receiver, I seriously thought it was a joke.  I checked, it's not April 1st.  It's December 2008!  This doesn't really happen in real life, does it?  If so, then it happens to the lower 20% out there with IQs below 50.  And even some of those guys are smart enough to keep the saftey on.  Shock and Awe Cowboy Nation.  Dnabb, you didn't know the rules.  Fine.  At least you didn't shoot yourself.  You're still dumb, but at least you're not Fing stupid.

I'm wondering what's taking the NFL so much time in making a decision about Plax.  This is a no brainer, really.  I understand waiting for the legal side, but Goodell and the boys were ONE block away when Plax shot himself.  (I can't help but laugh at the absurdity of that statement)  The proximity alone should warrant an immediate suspension.  I mean, one of those bullets could have travelled down that block and found Goodell's thigh.  Suspend that idiot already.  And while you're at it, suspend that mobster wanna be Antonio Pierce.  Pierce demanded that the club employees NOT call 911.  Then this pathetic excuse for a human being, took the gun, like he was part of the Sopranos, and stashed it.  Finally, after two hours, he takes Plax to the hospital, and get this, under a fake name - Harris Smith.  I guarantee you Nation, i can find two hundred actual Harris Smith's with higher IQs than these guys.  Lock them up and swallow the key.  Plaxico Burress and Antonio Soprano need to be removed from the NFL.  You let these idiots loose and they may actually hurt somebody, rather than themselves.

What a difference a Romo makes.

He's been back for three games.  Result:  Three wins.  Now, we all understand that the last two, San Fran and Seattle, are weak, vulnerable teams with self confidence problems.  San Fran has an old bear as interim coach, Seattle just has......well an old coach.  As Pauly Walnuts from the Sopranos would say, irregardless, they're wins, and we'll take 'em.  The Redskins were the only challenge in the past three weeks, and that was a satisfying win.  But what comes next will make or break the year.  Pittsburgh.

D-Ware and the Barbarian had a few scares, but are tough as nails.  They were held out of practice on Monday as a precaution, and are listed as Day-to-Day.  I expect them to be in uniform at Pittsburgh. 

Pacman is back.  I'm not sure that anyone cares.  At least the guy has the moral decency to have someone else to the shooting for him.  At least he punches his security detail and not himself.  It'll take at least two interceptions for me to even accept this guy.  I'll even settle for a sack.  Well, a sack and an interception, or two sack and no interceptions.  You get it.  My acceptance is expensive.  If he help us win, then he's in.  He gets burned more than a couple of times, then he's out.  I can see it now, Pacman zips from the Roethlisberger's blind side and plows into him helmet first.  Of course he's fined a week later, but it's ok, because he picked up the fumble and returned it for six.  Pacman Fever is back.  I can dream can't I.
