Hopes for a new season

After a heartbreaking loss in the first round playoff game of the 2006 - 2007 season to the Seattle Seahawks the Dallas Cowboys were determined to make the 2007 -2008 season a better one. However with the departure of Offensive Co-Ordinator Sean Payton and the hiring of Jason Garrett some might wonder if the cowboys improve or falter, then came the resignation of Bill Parcels and the hiring of Wade Phillips. the 2007 season got off to a great 5-0 start which lead many to believe that was going to be the year that the cowboys would win the superbowl. The cowboys finished out the season 13-3 first in the NFC east and a first round bye in the playoffs it looked as though Dallas would just coast through the playoffs but yeat tragedy struck again in the form of another first round playoff defeat. The 2008 season will hopefully bring more excitment and a hopefully a return to the superbowl key additions Zack Thomas, Adam Jones and new starting runing back Marion Barber who replaces Julius Jones the only question remains now is weather sure handed reciever Terry Glenn will remain a cowboy Glenn and team owner Jerry Jones have been in negotiations Gleen who is entering his 13th season has expressed interest in finishing out his carreer as a cowboy. However if the cowboys choose not to go with Terry Glenn Patrick Clayton and Sam Hurd are capable of being the other starter more so Crayton because he had more starts, Hopefully Genn will remain with the cowboys him along with the key additions acquired in the off season should propel the cowboys past the first round of the playoffs and into this seasons superbowl.
