Oh no T.O.'s talking again!

I have been unfairly criticized!  It's unfair to be a supposed star wide out in the NFL!  How are you suppose to do your job when the unfair media reports that I said something that I didn't say?!  I promise this time that I didn't say anything it's that mean old ESPN reporter Ed Warner.  That's it!  He's the one who's causing all of my woes.  He's the reason that our offense has been inconsistent for the last 3 games not me.  He, Tony Romo, and Jason Witten are freezing me out of plays!  I haven't done anything this time I'm innocent!  Well T.O. you're not innocent okay.  You can say that to yourself until you're blue(Cowboys blue of course) in the face and you're still not innocent.  So since you like children's books so much let's talk about the boy who cried wolf.  Remember that one T.O.?!  You should know this one.  It's about a boy who talked to much too.  He liked to yell WOLF just to get attention because he too thought he should be the center of the universe, and when no one was talking about him he cried and moaned and then yelled the one thing that he knew would get people's attention.  Sound familiar now T.O.?  Ringing any bells in that head of yours?!  You said in an interview to the same network that you're upset at for reporting something that this time you say you didn't say.  That because of your past the "Mean Old Media" won't let go of, you can't catch a break(or anything else for that matter).  Well T.O. there's a reason for that!  Your past is littered with comments that you've made.  The accusations of past quarterbacks, coaches, fans, and well teams altogether.  So if you want the "Mean Old Media" to concentrate on the way you play, and the fact that you have changed and that you're not the same T.O. from the days of San Francisco or Philadelphia then there's one very, very easy way to start doing that.  SHUT UP!  I'm not trying to be mean when I say this, but that's the quickest, and easiest way to get them off your back.  I know that they expect you to do interviews after games, and that's all well and good.  It's part of playing in the NFL, but don't give them the one thing that they want from you.  A sound bite.  That's what they want it's what they crave.  You of all people should know that.  You are the sound bite guy!  In your past you've given them exactly what they want.  You have spoon fed the "Mean Old Media" to the point the when you don't they get grumpy, they start to whine because T.O isn't giving them their fix for the week.  You of all people should know what the media machine wants.  Controversy!  That's what the "Mean Old Media" thrives on!  You use to make their job easy, and as you of all people should know. Most people in the media like it when someone else does their job for them.  And now you don't.  So they're getting fussy.  Your not spoon feeding them like you used to.  So when you don't they go some where else to get their fix.  Anybody on your team(or the other 32) would love to get the attention that you have.  They would love to have a full five minutes on Sportscenter devoted to just them and what they said today.  Hell you used to give them weeks worth of sound bites, and made it easy for them to fill their time slots.  All they had to do was make sure the light on the camera was on, and stick that microphone in your face, and you did the rest.  So the first time they said something that you didn't say.  What do you do?  You run to get that microphone shoved in your face.  Like I said before SHUT UP!  You want to show them that you're not the old T.O anymore.  SHUT UP!  You just want to be part of the team, and not a headline on Monday for what you said.  SHUT UP!  I know that you want to make sure that everyone understands that you didn't say what you're being accused of saying.  Well here's the way you do it.  SHUT UP!  When the camera is on and that mic's in your face don't give them what they want.  Instead tell your teammates like a man.  Go person to person, face to face, and tell them that what is being said about you is not true.  Prove it to them by not giving the "Mean Old Media" the sound bite that it craves.  When the camera's on, and that mic's in your face just talk about the game tell them that you're glad that you won or that there are somethings as a team we need to work on(when you lose), and that's it.  You might be surprised at the reaction that you get.  Not just from the "Mean Old Media", but your teammates as well.  We Cowboys fans really want to like you.  So don't give the "Mean Old Media" a reason for us not to.  Thank you again to everyone who reads this, and please leave me comments.  I like to read them good or bad.
