It's College Football Season! posted on 09/03/2008
Am I the only alarmed with the amounts of stabbings, drunk divings and shootings decorating our college landscape.  I mean it isn't UT footall season till someone gets arrested for a DWI or DUI.  Our DT already took care of that one.  I live in Austin, I know what it's like to hit up downtown and get completely plastered.  In fact, if colleges gave scholarships for that, I would of gotten one.  Besides the OU stabbings, and NFL shootings, this has become increasingly the norm.  My best friend always tells me the story of when he went out on Halloween and saw one dude dressed as a TV, and the other dude (who was white) painted in black with Cedric Benson jersey and dreadlock wig chasing the TV downtown.  That was in reference

It's Offical, the Name Sucks! posted on 09/03/2008

The former Seattle Super Sonics just unvield their new name and color scheme today.  I have to say that choice was not shocking and still sucks.  They are now known as the Oklahoma City Thunder.  They will be wearing blue, red, and orange.  I just think the name is boring.  Wow, the Thunder.  Then again, I'm not a big fan of team names that don't end in S.  I feel bad for everyone in Seattle, because they stole your team.  Then they took that team and named them something stupid. 

I know that Uni Watch covered this a while back.  The people on that site came up with much better names and designs, I have to say.  I can't remember who said it, but they could just been the Oklahoma City.  They would be The City. A play on the most beautiful jersey ever, worn by the old Golden State Warriors teams.  At least it was creative.  In lieu of this, am I the only person that thinks the NBA has too many teams that wear blue.  Off the top of my head they are:

You Want Serious, Look Somewhere Else posted on 09/03/2008
Top of the afternoon to everyone today.  I have a big mouth and love to run it.  It gets me in trouble sometimes, but I don't care about that.  What I do care about is sports.  I watch almost everything, and I love to hear what everyone thinks.  That's not all I want to talk about.  Let me give you some background info.  I am 23 and still working on an undergrad.  I know, I know, lots of people go to college for 7 years, and they are called doctors (Still love that Tommy Boy quote).
