Albert Haynesworth

One of the biggest (literally and figuratively) involves Albert Haynesworth and the Washington Redskins. Most times when there is a dispute with a team, it’s over money. Prince Albert does not have this problem. He received a fat $100 M contract just last off season and just a few weeks ago he went and picked up $21 M from the Redskins facility. So why is Prince Albert upset? Because the new head coach with two Super Bowl rings won’t run the team the way the prince wants. “Wait, you want me to show up for workouts and get in shape? No, thank you.” “Wait, you want me to play in an active defense where I can move around, disrupt the offensive line and make my teammates better? No, thank you.” You see, the prince’s main squabble with the Washington Redskins is the fact that they are running a 3-4 defense. This is a new one. You sign the biggest contract of any defensive player in the history of the NFL and now you want out of town because you think the defense is going to limit you? If you are worth $100 M, then you should be a beast in any defense. Hell, I should be able to put you out there by your lonesome and you should be able to stop the offense. But this guy…

in the league. There shouldn’t be that much of a drop off. The Titans really miss Albert Haynesworth, but you have to be prepared for that situation. And then to have a communication breakdown of this magnitude with Kearse, in his second home of Tennessee in front of all of his family and friends…what else would you expect? This team is going nowhere fast and if Fisher can’t find a way to bring some promise out of this squad then he should not be the head coach for this team next year. Jeff Fisher is a good coach, but like Cowher, Shannahan and Gruden, he may need a clean break from the grind of the NFL season.

James doesn't just make the play, he makes sure to leave a mark, too.
8-Albert Haynesworth-DT, Tennessee Titans
The big fella at the heart of the intimidating Tennessee defense is the most versatile defensive tackle in the league. Albert plugs running lanes with his raw size and keen understanding of positioning, but he can also get after the quarterback with surprising speed.

oaches make mistakes.
Ironically on the 4th and 3 play, Titans star defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was injured when his left leg was caught under the pile. A few of the Titans players said the Texans acted a little harsh during Haynesworth's injury. Why is this ironic? Because Haynesworth was the same player that had 'suspicious' hits against Texans quarterback Matt Schaub before last season in the same stadium! (Reliant Stadium). Official diagnosis of Haynesworth's injury has not been released, but the replay was not too pretty. Titans will need him by their first playoff game!
