Chris Johnson

o you may as well have 4 of them, one for each quarter.  Under this format we would get to see Chris Johnson, Maurice Jones-Drew, Ray Rice and Cedric Benson all on the same field.  I’d much rather see these guys than David Garrard and Vince Young.

uo;s stats are better and they’re both the two seed.

Offensive Player of the Year:

Chris Johnson: 2,006 rushing yards, 14 Tds, 22 runs of 20 yards or more.

Why:

This guy has been amazing throughout the season.  He is one of only 6 players to rush for 2,000 yards and he didn’t even rack up much yardage in the 1st few games.  He is a highlight waiting two happen.  He almost led his team to the playoffs after a 0-6 start.  The knock on him was that he might not be able to take the pounding, but he made it the full 16, and carried the ball more than any other back in the league (358).  He shattered Marshall Faulk’s yards from scrimmage record (2,509), and it’s only his second year!  Does anyone think this guy has 2,500 rush yards in him?

), you know that in the “Bush League” where “Bush Team 2” was trying to get Chris Johnson and Andre Johnson in a trade for Mike Jenkins and Joseph Addai from “Bush Team 2”.  This was certainly the most ridiculous trade I had ever seen and I assumed that it would get vetoed pretty quickly. I even wrote a league wide e-mail for everyone to be on the lookout for “Bush League” tactics. Unfortunately, no one in that league pays attention to what’s going on (either that or the guy owns every team in the league which is entirely possible when I consider the fact that Bush Team 2  messaged me back saying that he “owned this league”).  When the trade went through after a couple of days I was pretty despondent, but I didn’t let it bother me too much.  I was still confident in my roster and I just knew that I would make the playoffs and beat the crap out of this punk.

but I digress.)  My notification revealed to me that there was a pending trade that would send Chris Johnson and Andre Johnson from Bush team 1 to Bush team 2 for Joseph Addai and Michael Jenkins.  Now to the average person this is no big deal because the players play the same position and 2 equals 2.  But to “fantasy landers” this is sheer blasphemy.  Consider the fact that

On Thanksgiving Day, the Tennessee Titans demolished the Lions with two star rushers (Chris Johnson and LenDale White) and one old-fart QB (Kerry Collins).  The Vikes played
