Felix Jones

he Cowboys will have to mix it up.  Maybe a fake to Barber (at fullback) with the pitch out to Felix Jones?  I’m not a professional coach or anything, but that seems to work around the league.  What about actually handing the ball to

The Cowboys need to eliminate the big play on special teams and make a big play of their own.  Felix Jones is due for a big return and maybe even Patrick Crayton can work some of that early season magic.  And let’s not forget that the Cowboys have a new/old holder in the famous/infamous Tony Romo.  Although Romo’s last hold will forever live in infamy, it should be a good move to put him in place of Mat McBriar who was struggling as a holder.  That does not exonerate Nick Folk in any way, but it is at least worth a try.    Harrass Rivers

plays of their own.  They need to continue to do well here, and get better if possible.  Felix Jones had a chance for a huge return on the first kickoff of the game had he simply made a move to the outside rather than the inside.  If they can maintain their production on special teams while pulling it together on offense and defense then they should be in good shape for the playoffs.

st year.  I saw him get taken down with an arm tackle on at least 2 occasions on Sunday.  Felix Jones doesn’t seem very healthy either.  The best option at this point is Tashard Choice, but it seems like the Cowboys are having a hard time figuring out whom to give the ball to in what situations.  I just don’t understand passing the ball on 1st and goal from the 1 yard line when you have Choice and Barber.  Everyone knows Barber can take it in from the 1 yard line without any offensive linemen…give him the ball!  If the Cowboys score there, and get that touchdown from Roy at the end of the game they are still in it despite playing very poorly.

is football team so he should see no less than 20 carries.  Sprinkle in a big play or two from Felix Jones, solid special teams play, and an ever elusive turnover from this Eagles team and we’ve got ourselves a victory and sole possession of the NFC East.  If not, then Monday should be very interesting.

lina’s undersized front seven and take advantage of their depth at the running back position (Felix Jones and Tashard choice managed over 80 yards rushing a piece).  More importantly, Tony Romo showed toughness and focus, and did not make the critical mistake that could have swung this game in Carolina’s favor.

That time has come again.  Although he will be sharing carries with the electric Felix Jones, they are playing a porous run defense in the Carolina Panthers and he should get some goal line carries. I look for him to score between 10 and 15 fantasy points this week.

ng to start out on a positive note as the Cowboys ran the ball beautifully.  Marion Barber and Felix Jones absolutely gashed the Giants defense and showed why they are prime picks in every fantasy draft.  Marion Barber rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown and also caught a couple of passes for 31 yards.

Marion Barber, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice or as they are affectionately and appropriately named:  Crash, Dash and Tash,  need to be the new center of the offensive attack. It is through the running attack that passing game will be effective in the post TO offense.  I have a lot of faith in Roy Williams, but I feel that its with the other receivers that we will have the most success.  If Roy can become the possession receiver that Michael Irvin was, then we will have a great season.  If not, we will need the emergence of one of the younger receivers, otherwise JJ will go shoppin', and we really can't afford another trade like the one we gave up for Roy.

do for the team?  The only thing I can remember Pacman doing is dropping a bucket of water on Felix Jones on HBO's Hard Knocks during training camp....from the second floor.  That act could have turned out much worse that just picking on a rookie.  The shock could have had an adverse reaction on

em on his knee, at least, as that's the way Al Michaels put it.  Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Felix Jones is not even practicing.  Go back to Denver Portis.

*  Tackling is becoming a huge problem early in the game.  Runners are getting the benifit of huge gains on Dallas' lack of tackling.  Oh sure, the second quarter and the second half it got better.  But if there is a dominate team, you can't give them an inch.  The tackling has got to get better.  That goes for you as well Mike Jenkins.

ryptonic pinkie finger may be the best medicine, but it's not the only return that will help.  Felix Jones, Terence Newman, a semi pain free Jason Witten, will help.  But I must reiterate Nation, all will be lost if the massive offensive line decides to fold under the pressure.  It all ends and begins with the O-line.  There will be no post season if we lose two more.  Washington must pay at home if the Cowboys hope to salvage the season.  Nothing else must exist in the collective minds of the team but the demise of Washington.  Bring down the Redskins, nothing more, beat them, nothing less.

odele).  Jerry had good reason for optimism.  The Cowboys had a decent draft by selecting Felix Jones and bolstering their cornerback depth. They also acquired Adam Jones on a draft day trade.  The Cowboys were 13-3 last year; a Super Bowl would surely be in their grasp this year?

fractured and he will not be able to play for several weeks.  In the first quarter of the game Felix Jones went down with an injured hamstring and will be out about 2 weeks.  And to top it all off, Adam "You Can Call Me Pacman Again" Jones was suspended indefinitely for having a fight with one of his body guards.  This is probably a lucky break though, if Roger Goodell had really wanted to show Pacman he had screwed up he probably would have banned him from the league.  The question now is whether he will be able to play after the suspension is lifted (and he successfully completes an alcohol program).

Marion Barber.  I'm going to keep that trend this week, and give it to the rookie running back Felix Jones.  This is the fourth game that Jones has had a touchdown (against Philadelphia he returned a kickoff) and the third with more than 60 yards despite working in a dual backs system that heavily favors Barber.  This week Jones had 9 rushes for 96 yards and a touchdown.  That's pretty impressive for a rookie who sees limited handoffs.  He has an icredible ability to get to the outside utilizing blockers, and then puts on an incredible burst of speed to get through the secondary defenders.  While Barber thrives using contact and taking defenders head on, Jones is able to get around them much faster.  Not a bad fantasy pick if I say so myself.
