Kerry Collins

certainly earned the win, but Tennessee's wide receiver drops had a little something to do with it. Kerry Collins' statistics were very misleading today; he actually played well.

-My preseason predictions suggested a bit of a surprising season for the Washington Redskins in the NFC East, but the surprise is how BAD they are. Congrats to the Detroit Lions on breaking their seemingly endless losing streak against the 'Skins. Jim Zorn's crew had the opportunity to steal away the victory in the late fourth, but Detroit held its ground. Washington simply doesn't have the weapons on the offensive side of the ball. Clinton Portis played banged up but didn't provide much.

last season, Haynesworth didn't play either, so no real gain there.  The big question will be Kerry Collins, and I think his arm will just about fall off.  I'll give the Steelers 6/10.

ould be just as risky, and here are the free agent QB options:

Kurt Warner: Not going anywhere.

Kerry Collins: Will likely stick around in Tennessee due to Vince Young's suppose instability.

Tennessee went with a pass play, but Kerry Collins and the offense did not succeed. After the game, Fisher told reporters the reason he didn't have Bironas out there was because they were facing the wind and they 'were about 5 yards from Bironas' favorable spot'. I'm not so sure if I believe Fisher fully on his comments, but even great head coaches make mistakes.

ons in a blowout!  Tennessee has a well-balanced offense with two quality running backs.  Kerry Collins is a very good manager of the offense, but he can still make all the necessary throws when needed.  The Titans defense is playing well also.  Jeff Fisher has his club firing on all cylinders heading into the play-offs!

little list I threw together to celebrate the holiday...I had more time on my hands today than Kerry Collins did against Detroit. And that's saying something.

10. Mike Tomlin

The Steelers have a tradition of great coaches that goes back almost forty years. Of course, they've only had three coaches during that time, as opposed to the Raiders, who went through three coaches last week. Maybe I exaggerated a little, but I think the rest of the league could take a lesson from the Rooney family. Hire a good coach, use the quality players you have, and let him build a team around his system, not the system the last coach used, not the system the GM wants, but the system that you hired him to implement. Al Davis, take notes...

Tennessee is now 10-0…that’s amazing considering that they are doing it with Kerry Collins as their QB.  Good thing Vince Young had some issues at the beginning of the season!
