The League and Roger Goodell took way, way too long in delivering those suspensions to the six player who were caught with the dietary supplement, StarCaps.  How long you ask?  Five Months, that’s right,  they knew back in training camp.  The NFL knew waaaaaaay back then.  But they want to effect the end of the season, rather than the beginning.  The obvious question is why?  Pinning down Roger “The Dodger” Goodell on this subject has proven to be extremely difficult.  One this is for certain, the new commish leave a lot to be desired.  I almost miss Paul Tagliabue.

Plaxico Burress was fined, suspended (without pay) for the remainder of the season (including the play-offs), and put on the non-football injury list by the Giants.  His days as a member of the New York Giants is numbered…and that’s the least of his worries!

Plaxico Burress posted $100,000 bail yesterday.  He is now back out on the streets until March 31, 2009…when he goes back in front of the Judge!  Unfortunately for Plaxico, Goodell won’t take as long to render judgment!  Plax…just stay inside your house!  Shop online if you get bored!
