During the 2008-2009 season, an encouraging pattern appeared. The Steelers would start the game well, at some point fall behind, and in the 4th quarter, Big Ben would engineer a game winning drive. This phenomena reared its head during the regular season, but in the biggest game of the year, Super Bowl XLIII. Why is the leader of such a sub par offense (22nd in the league during the regular season) the engineer of so many come from behind wins? When examined, two major reasons can be found.

Coming off a super bowl victory last season, hopes couldn't be higher for the 2009 Pittsburgh Steelers, as they should be. While the team is returning 20 out of 22 starters from that super bowl run (only losing Larry Foote and Bryant Mcfadden), things begin to look bleak as we look at the possible roster a year from now. In 2010, the

without Tashard Choice, the Cowboys falls back into the same type of game that they had against the Steelers, and blow another late lead. The truth is this team played together, all the worthy components charging as one unit. Romo battling through a back contusion, and coming back to score. As he did against the Browns in game one, remember the taped chin? Witten converting on that 3rd and 9 late in the game. This was the game winner, Choice adding to it on the next play just icing on the cake. The Defense was great.

ice. The rookie was fearless. He took on that defense and almost broke a few. The Steelers were worried about him in the second half and tighten up, which should have opened up the passing game. Either the wind or Tony Romo screwed that up. Tashard is good enough that with Marion Barber and Felix Jones, they improve the backfield beyond what the Giant's three headed monster can do. My feeling is that if Marion can't go, then Tashard will do the job. My concern last week was that he would be the lone back and the added pressure might cook the rookie. But his play proved me wrong, and I was pleasantly delighted with the results. The loss was not on Tashard Choice. A defensive gate that opened up in the last 7 minutes and fubar play by Tony Romo or Jason Witten cost us the game. I'm very please with this year's draft. Most have made an impact, unlike Adam Jones. Next year will be something. I fully expect a 13-3 season, NEXT year. As for the last three games, my spidy sense tells me that 2-1 is not out of reach. Unfortunately, the Cowboys will probably need a 3-0 run to make the playoffs. Anything is possible and i reserve hope, but I must expect more of the same from this cast of boys. If history repeats itself, and they do make it, then history will repeat itself and they will have a first round exit. All I can say is WADE PHILLIPS, prove me wrong.

reach. Believe me when I say, a loss will hurt their chances tremendously. I think the Steelers will put up 16 points, maybe 13. Can Romo and the boys hit 20, 21? The weather may be a factor, not to mention that Marion Barber is a game time decision. We need him in the fourth. We need him to put that steel nail in the coffin. I just don't think the rookie, Tashard Choice, can do it alone. If Marion plays, and is effective, then bring on the Giants. It'll be time to go rat hunting. My feeling is the defense will get one to two interceptions, as the second string QB, i don't care who he is, or if he played for the Jags, will be making an appearance for the
