The Spurs won despite being without key parts Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. Tim Duncan and rookie George Hill came up big in the 77-75 win. Duncan had a game-saving block against Rockets guard Aaron Brooks late to clinch the win for the Spurs.

  However, do any Spurs fans remember going 0-3 this early in the season?  Tim Duncan and Tony Parker are doing their part.  Roger Mason Jr. and George Hill played well.  This was George's first game, and there were some positive things, but where are the rest?  17 point loss, this does not sit well with the Maverick haters in the San Antonio area.  As I'm sure I'll say all month, we miss Manu.  He is the missing piece of the puzzle that has resulted in an early defeated season.  Never have I craved for December as much as I am now, unless you count my childhood days.  But much like Santa Claus, Manu could very well deliver wins as much needed gifts early in the season.  Still 79 games to go, so 0-3, statistically not bad.  Win one though, ok?
