As all you gents out there get your motors revved up for draft day I pose the question; who will you draft? Will you go the traditional route and draft a high octane back or go for the sleeper pick who will produce at the end of the season? In my unsuccessful experiences in fantasy I have always made the mistake of drafting a QB early....In terms of real points accrued they will do you little to no good if you grab them in early rounds. The more successful teams in my leagues have always picked up the Randy Mosses, and Maurice Jones Drew's of the world. The question you should ask yourself; do I want to be gaining ground in late season matchups as weaker teams face tougher opponents? Or do I want to be on the foreground of a victorious season in early games with backs that produce in starter roles? This year I will be doing the latter. Happy hunting.

Forget Pat Forde, Sal Palontonio come on these guys are fossils. I'm in the trenches. I have the facts, figures, and knowledge of the gamers to get you tuned in, channelled on, and fired up for Monday night football. And if you football isn't your sport, then I can get you plugged into any one of our affiliate blogs. Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, you name the game and I'll challenge you to find something interesting to write about and comment on. Forget the "Forde Yard Dash". Welcome to the wide world of sports via Sean Risen. A little bit about myself; I'm a graduate from the University of Kentucky in Lexington and am an avid sports fanatic. I have been following sports pretty closely since I could walk, talk, read and write. I have played sports my entire life as well. Sometimes to failure. What I find interesting about sport is the ability you have to recreate yourself daily in terms of performance. You have a bad day at the plate, so what there's always tomorrow. You foul out in the first half, who cares. You live to play another day. I challenge you as a reader of this blog to search for that competitive fire below and produce some feedback on this blog. If you have any questions reach out to me at Sean.Risen@gmail.com. I will address them as I see fit. For now I will begin this official Dallas Cowboy thread with an ode to Pacman Adam Jones.

Adam Jones begins his preseason debut with yet another interesting performance. In a 24 yard punt return he was brought down by the opposing teams kicker. Although this was hilarious the frustrated Jones commented in an ESPN blog "You're not supposed to get tackled by a kicker," said Jones. In a heated battle with young Bronco receiver Brandon Marshall, Jones compared him to a younger version of Terrell Owens. The question I pose sports fans is simple; can Adam Jones become an asset to an already ego driven team? My thoughts are simple on the matter. Jones an athletic monster brings the defensive tenacity that Dallas lacks. His off-season antics and behavior are behind him and he has taken the bull by the horns and put his behavior behind him. With an explosive attitude and uncanny ability to make plays, Jones should be an excellent addition to the powerful Dallas roster.

In the QB heavy top four selections it all boils to confidence, poise, and shifty pocket passing. Romo placed the numbers last season. Fans what do you think about this top four selection of choices? I see Romo as a man among boys when it comes to passing, and pocket presence.

In the glorious years of football when icons such as Emmit Smith and Michael Irving rocked the house Cowboy fans are wondering if the combination of Romo, Owens, and Barber can electrify the stadium this year. Jerry Jones guarantees victory this year as he predicts his cowboys will garner a Super Bowl appearance and win. With a less than stellar showing last playoffs fans can only wonder if this scenario will play out. The reinstatement letter is in the mail, it's up to the commissioner to sign the papers and get Pac Man on the field. With him in the number two slot getting some touches should pose a serious down field threat for the already high octane offense of Romo and company. Can somebody please call Jessica Simpson?
