Gone Off The Reservation

What better of a barometer of the organizational woes of the Cowboys, than the fact that a respectable coach like a Dan Reeves can only last a whopping 3 days before packing up and leaving town.  Jerry Jones has done well when he has hired personel that would "stand up" to him and not back down.  However one can tell that he is not particulary happy during said times.  (Why else would you let Jimmy Johnson leave town?)  Therefore we find ourselves once again with a powder puff coach that is leaching talent from the former "enforcer type coach" (Parcels).  Wade Phillips has become no better than a Chan Gailey or Dave Campo.  Granted Parcels wasn't the best coach, but do you really think that a Parcels coached team would have went to Philly in Decemeber with the playoffs on the line and laid that egg?!?! Which is just fine with Mr. Jones because that way he gets his way.  The Cowboys will never be a serious contender again until Jerry realizes that he needs to just cut the checks and let someone else manage the team and personel.
