Troy is the definition of the systematic destruction of anything and everything in the way, even his own body. Just hit something, even if it's your own teammate. Here is a four time pro bowl safety speaking out against the " let's not hurt anyone " NFL. Could ya take defense out of the game just a little more!!! Maybe I'm biased, I'm the 10-7 in the 4th quarter, bloody, body parts hanging, kicking, screaming, clawing in 20 degree weather with so much mud that you can't tell who is who football fan. Defence BABY!!!!! What's the saying? Defense wins championships. Ya think?
Time Of Possession, Field Position, Turnovers and Penalties!!!! These are the BIG FOUR in football. Statistics have proven that winning three of these four categories ups your odds of walking away with a W. The past few weeks there have been some questionable calls in the NFL. Fines have been levied, refs have been punished, THE TIDES HAVE RISEN AND THE END OF EXISTECE IS AT HAND!!! I've heard from so many fans "That call effected the outcome of the game" One question. Doesn't all penalties effect the outcome of games? Think about it. What would football be without a questionable call, or a no call for that matter? The league saw fit to give penalties a separate category. Why, because it affe
Continue reading "Penalties"

I'd venture a guess that this week and every week forever & a day, the boys will establish the run. One of the first things out of Wade Phillips mouth during his Monday press conference was, "We didn't run the ball enough." Some sports reporter asked if 8 in the box was overrated. Phillip's reply, "We stacked 8 in the box, and they still ran the ball effectively" The first 3 games of the regular season the Cowboys used Barber, Jones and that big offensive line to perfection. Play action works very well when you have Owens, Witten, Crayton an now Miles Davis to throw to. Smash mouth football works. It wins championships. It's always won championships. The Washington Redskins didn't beat t
Continue reading "THE RUN"

This week it's the Eagles. Let me say, just for the record. Who cares!! Forget about the NFC East rivalry and that it's the Eagles. I think it's real important to remember it's BUSINESS, it's not personal. Across the line of scrimmage it's just another football player for some other football team. And ya know what? They're standing in the way of history and they need to be systematically removed for that reason and that reason only. The Cowboys are 5 time Superbowl champions and this season they can make it an unprecedented 6. No one has done that and may never again. Emotion has no place in this equation. Emotion is irrational and leads to turnovers and penalties. Time of possession, field position, turnovers, an
Continue reading "Who Cares"

Well, maybe not. But anyway, the BIG DAWGS showed where football games are won. In the trenches!!!! That's right folks, If you can't control the line of scrimmage, just sit on the bench and drink Gatorade. Dan Morino didn't do those Isotoner glove commercials for nothing. If my memory serves me correctly, what was one of the first things the great Jimmy Johnson did in big D?&
Continue reading "THE BIG DAWGS"
